This wine exhibits a lot of character and expression. The spices from the wild environment of the site were captured upon release in the vat, to be better found in the bottle. The original taste profile in the mouth is based on the old Mourvèdre harvested very late, with its small berries deeply marking the style of this cuvée. The roundness and fruitiness gradually give way to the amplitude and power of the slopes. The delicate presence of wood is felt only through the spicy mineral expression of the soil mid-palate. A long, licorice and fleshy finish with strong accents of terroir and late summer flowers will restore fullness and eternity in a well-chosen setting.
