FINE WINES OF VALRÉAS

VAL DES ROIS

A TERROIR OF BALANCE

On the rocky hillsides with deep, cool clay soils, facing Southeast, our 10 hectares of vineyards draw their richness. The relative altitude of 350 to 400 meters gives this terroir a balanced acidity and fine tannins characteristic of this appellation. We place great importance on maintaining a rich and diverse ecosystem within the vineyard, promoting natural balance in our wines.

VALRÉAS, HOME OF GRENACHE

Perched at over 350 meters altitude, our parcels in the AOP Côtes du Rhône Village Valréas stretch across rocky slopes and plateaus at the foothills of the Prealps. This unique combination of latitude, altitude, soils, and Provencal climate bestows upon our Valréas wines a distinctive identity, characterized by exceptional freshness and finesse wrapped in a warm roundness. In this Papal enclave, Grenache reigns supreme, displaying its full verticality, bringing complexity and intense fruitiness to Syrah and Carignan in blends of rare balance.

The breadth and fruitiness of Grenache, the complexity and structure of Syrah. Blending these grape varieties is a crucial phase in achieving finesse.

CULTURAL PRACTICES

Personal and proven cultural methods. Three principles guide our choices: promoting the vine’s natural defenses, allowing for maximum grape maturity, and enhancing soil biological activity.
The estate is certified organic by Ecocert and does not use any synthetic products. Soil is enriched with organic matter through the exclusive use of vegetal compost.
