100 % Syrah

High-altitude granitic slopes in the northern part of the appellation. Fine, powdery soils combining loess and granite.

Partially destemmed grapes are fermented in small concrete vats. Very gentle extraction over time with minimal intervention to maintain an elegant structure, relying on the altitude and northern location to establish a distinct yet refreshing balance.

The nose harmoniously reveals wild black berries, peppermint, and cocoa-dusted graphite. The palate is subtle and very smooth, with an immediate sense of fluidity that gives way to the northern terroir’s natural freshness, showcasing its unextracted energy. This is a charming yet vibrant Crozes-Hermitage, easy to enjoy while offering a touch of complexity through the harmonious interplay of floral, fruit, and mineral elements. It’s a version of the appellation particularly suited for late spring, summer, and early autumn.
